Updating the ALM-X2 firmware in four steps

The firmware update of the ALM-X2 runs directly from the web portal of the thermostat. After the update the device restarts; all settings are preserved.

  • Step 1: open the web portal of the thermostat
  • Step 2: go to the „System“ page
  • Step 3: under „Management“ enter the URL of the new firmware
  • Step 4: run the update and confirm – the device restarts
  • Settings and Wi-Fi credentials are kept

Frequently asked questions

Will my settings be lost during the update?

No. After the restart all settings are still in place.

How long does the update take?

Usually less than a minute including the restart. Do not interrupt the power supply while the update is running.

How do I know whether an update is needed?

The installed version is shown in the web portal and can be compared with the current firmware.
