Is the battery included?
No. The sensor needs a CR123A battery, which has to be purchased separately.
How long does the battery last?
More than one year according to the manufacturer. Alternatively the sensor can be powered permanently through a USB cable.
What can I actually use the sensor for?
The manufacturer suggests, among other things: automating bathroom ventilation (together with a Shelly Plus 1), switching an existing fan through a smart plug depending on temperature, and monitoring storage and cooling conditions.
