3. Enter your home network credentials
The web portal displays the available access points. After selecting your home network, the Wi-Fi password must be entered in the window shown. The access data is only stored on the device itself. If the connection is successful, the new assigned IP will be displayed in the window. The Wi-Fi icon on the thermostat's display stops flashing, reflecting a valid connection to your Wi-Fi. The connection to the access point of the thermostat can be disconnected and the mobile phone can be reconnected to its own Wi-Fi.
Access to
the web portalThe web portal of the thermostat can be accessed directly via the previously assigned IP address (here in the example: http://192.168.178.107/) or via the web browser with the URL of the previously displayed access point (here in the example: http://alm-x23d28). The web portal offers the possibility to view and set various parameters. The language of the web portal is automatically set based on the settings of the web browser and can be changed in the upper right corner if necessary. The web portal is an open source project that was created in cooperation with the creator Denis Y and adapted for the thermostat X2.
